About us
I’m Gail, owner of Primary Pathfinders, an experienced Primary School Teacher and parent with over 25 years working in the education system.
My Journey
I graduated from Warwick University in 2000 with a BA (QTS) Education with Maths and started teaching in London. I have had a variety of roles including class teacher, SATS booster leader, intervention teacher, SATS marker and computing specialist teacher. Over the years I have developed interests in child development, computing, behaviour, mental health, wellbeing and learning styles.
I owned a successful tutoring agency which gave me an excellent insight into helping parents achieve the best for their child. Having navigated the education system as a parent and teacher I have an in depth knowledge of how the education system functions from both perspectives.
I love being a teacher and the joy of teaching is rewarding. However, as a class teacher there was inadequate time during parent meetings to advise and support parents to maximise their child’s potential.
That is how Primary Pathfinders was created. We want to help parents and children have a happy, successful and well rounded journey through our education system.

Reviews
Gail has helped both myself and my child as we move through the KS2 syllabus and towards secondary school. From decoding spag and helping with maths homework to helping my child build confidence in her own abilities; Gail's down to earth, fun and positive approach to learning has been invaluable! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to understand the education system and support their child through what can be a very stressful time.

Gail’s expertise in teaching and her understanding of the school system makes her a superb support for any parent. I have learnt a considerable amount from her, especially when trying to translate teacher talk in reports into layman's terms. Her guidance, hints and tips are second to none.
